Ferdie’s Soccer Magic (FSM) is a soccer skills development program that specializes in teaching individual ball skills for a higher level of enjoyment and success. With four Guinness World Records, two in soccer, and two in Backwards Sprinting, Ferdie has become a highly sought after soccer personality at major events and tournaments around the world. Demonstrating some breathtaking juggling skills, Ferdie attracts players of all ages and all walks of life. Ft Lowell Shootout in Tucson AZ, San Antonio youth soccer tournament, Adidas Tournament in Park City, Utah, and the largest youth soccer tournament in North America, Schwann’s USA Cup in Blaine MN, featuring almost 20,000 people from 25 countries and 34 states.

On August 27, 2003, Ferdie appeared on NBC’s The Today Show where he demonstrated his juggling skills in breaking his own Guinness World Record in SPEED JUGGLING with 141 juggles of a soccer ball in 30 seconds. Averaging over 4 juggles per second, this wonderful demonstration of skill and speed catches the attention of any individual who loves the game and plays the game.

FSM PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

FSM Camps and programs

FSM programs have grown significantly in six years. In 1994, we held a one-week camp that attracted 92 campers. In 1995, some 300 kids attended two one-week camps. In 2000, FSM sold out 5 weeks of overnight and day camps, serving some 650 kids. We have since added winter skills classes at two indoor venues where we rent by the hour in western mass. In 2001 FSM was contracted to run weekend skill camps in Roswell GA, Lafayette LA, Apple Valley MN and Guilderland NY. About 2500 kids experienced FSM in 2001 through camps and weekend programs. Demand for FSM programming has grown exponentially since 2000.

Skills Competitions

Our future plans of conducting fun and challenging skills competitions on “IT’S ALL ABOUT LOVE” soccer skills tour at tournaments around the country will help promote the FSM program. This will also direct traffic to the website where kids would like to find out how they compare to other kids in the country. The competitions will feature the fun fair attitude of African soccer with an African band as a backdrop along with food and cultural shows. Lots of love, lots of magic, lots of soccer.

FSM skills Video/Manuals

FSM skills videos and quality published instructional manuals for both players and coaches are highly anticipated products on the regional and national soccer market. The videos will capture Ferdie‘s unusual passion and unique teaching style, and combine the upbeat music and colorful dress of west Africa to create a fun, intense and inspiring video for kids to learn from. They will be marketed through the camps, clinics, and tournament demonstrations and exhibitions.

Ferdie’s Soccer Magic Skills Carpet

Ferdie’s latest invention is “ Ferdie’s Soccer Magic Skills Carpet” TM. The world’s first soccer skills carpet is a small carpet with diagrams of the skills we teach at FSMA It can be purchased by an individual and placed anywhere in their house to learn and practice soccer skills. FSM Skills Carpet TM will revolutionalize skill acquisition because it will shift the responsibility of skills development from the coach to the player. The player will now have the ability to practice at his or her own leisure and desire. Research has shown that children perform more wholeheartedly and better when given the opportunity to acquire skills on their own. FSM Skills Carpet TM makes it possible for kids to practice their skills at home without the pressure of a coach or other teammates. Based on inquiries, we anticipate that FSM Skills Carpet TM will be on the Christmas list of every soccer mom in America when production is completed.

FSM Paraphernalia

FSM t-shirts, hats, shorts have been very successful on the market. As the program and associated products grow in popularity so would the associated paraphernalia. Shirts will be created for our trademark skills, “sweep, papa, and the yoyos. A whole line will be created for purchase on the “All about love tour”. “NO LOVE- NO SKILL, NO SKILL- NO GAME.” is now a registered trademark of FSM, which follows “It’s all about love”. Every Ferdie’s Soccer Magician is aware of “COOL BEANS? … HOT RICE!” as the anthem of the program and they love it.

Website

The FSM website (www.soccer-magic.com) is an interactive website which offers programming information, schedules, as well as current information on local, state, national and worldwide trends in development. All FSM skills competition results including National and World records which have already been approved and endorsed by the Guinness Book of World Records will be updated real time for kids to follow. The website helps kids to track and compare their skills development with others and generate interest from around the globe. An alumni corner online informs on the whereabouts of old students, annual alumni games and events. This fosters customer retention, and all FSM devotees will have the ability to purchase all our products and services through the Web.

Expanding the website to include a message board will really help to encourage users of the program to return again and again, increasing exposure for our program and your business!
