Austin Somers (the keeper from the Knights)
Hi Ferdie.
I play soccer for the Roswell girl u-11 Santo's team. Have
you heard of them? Well, I heard you were in the Guinness
book of world records for the most juggles in 30 seconds!
WOW, that's awesome. Well, my 17 year old sister plays soccer
too. In fact, she went to your little soccer camp! I went
in her room today and found a sheet on her floor and it
had your picture on it and it said... "see Ferdie at www.soccermagic.com"
and Poff it said at the bottom email Ferdie. And thats how
I am writing you. Did you meet a girl at your camp named
Laura Haynes? Well, that was my sister! Well, you are a
great player and I admire you sooo much. Please write back!!!
Sincerely,
Sara also known as soccergirl*

I waqsn't
sure if you received my message this weekend, so i thought
I'd write and tell you about our big game last Friday evening.
It was AWESOME. That's the only word that I can think of
that fully describes how we played. I was expecting a pretty
tight game, one or two goal difference either way, but they
came out and just broke down the whole team.
We
won the game 5-1. every single player played out of their
mind. From the start I could tell that they really wanted
it. I always tell them that I can tell how they will play
before the game even starts just by their attitude in warm
up. It's just a dream to see your team go out and incorporate
every aspect of the game and capitalize on it. they were
seeing plays happen before they even did, they were winning
every 50/50 ball, they recovered each others mistakes, they
made every pass count, they were everywhere they were supposed
to be, and played the most physical game they could. That
team was supposed to be the best in the state. If we continue
to play like we did Friday, I don't think anyone can touch
us, and now I think they realize that. I just want to thank
you again for giving them that extra boost they needed mentally
and skill wise to reach that next goal that we have been
trying to accomplish. You guys are fantastic!!! I think
you would have been pleased. Our next game is tomorrow night
at home. It's the first round of Region playoffs. Hopefully
we have the momentum we need to carry us through that game.
It's do or die tomorrow night. Any words of wisdom that
I can share with my players that you might have would be
greatly appreciated. Also, I have just picked up a u-12
girls club team that I am going to recommend your camp this
summer to. Write me back or give me a call when you get
a chance. Thanks again.... I wish you guys would come down
and watch tomorrow. Talk to you soon....... Sicerely, Tony
